We spent Christmas and New Year at the Staybridge Suites in Liverpool. We had a great time, and we would recommend it to anyone visiting Liverpool. The rooms are great: large, comfortable, clean and well designed, with a well equipped kitchen. The breakfast is very good with lots of healthy choices, although we could not resist enjoying the lovely cooked breakfast every day. The location is the best, close to the river Mersey and the Albert Dock which is a bustling historic Liverpool landmark, and very close to the iconic Liverpool One shopping area. Apart from the great location, great rooms and great breakfasts, I have to say that it is the staff that really make the Staybridge so excellent. Worthy of particular mention are Danielle in the Breakfast Room, Lauren the chambermaid, Elaine at breakfast and just generally around the hotel, Meghan and Michael on Reception, and even Paul the Maintenance Man (who is so good that I wanted to take him home to London to fix a few jobs). All are excellent at their jobs, as well as being very pleasant and sociable. I have recommended the Staybridge to friends and family. I hesitate to recommend the hotel to everyone so strongly (as I may not be able to get a room next time I want to stay) but credit where it is due. If you stay here, the staff will make sure you are very comfortable and have a very good stay, and what more can you ask.

I'm surprised it's not a 5-star hotel. The staff are phenomenally polite, friendly, informative and generally just so kind. We were blown away by the room - the kitchenette was more kitted out than my own kitchen hahah! I made a point of sitting on all of the chairs as well as sleeping in the bed because it was all so comfortable. I cannot put into words just how much the attention to detail, in all capacities, is what really makes this hotel so exceptional. All the little details - from the coffee/tea selection, to the toiletries, to the amenities and utilities - is unbeatable. The complementary breakfast; I was literally overwhelmed with choice, and everything was delicious. As a person who drinks way too much coffee, this is the place to be in a morning for me hahaha. The location: perfect! We travelled for Comic Con, which was literally a 20 seconds walk away. We did go into the main town centre, which only took us 10 minutes to get there. The hotel staff were kind enough to give us directions, though it was very easy to navigate Liverpool from this hotel regardless. Honestly my sister and I were so surprised that people like us could 'afford' to be in a beautiful place like that, we will never stay anywhere else now. Thank you so much. Absolutely beautiful hotel and staff :)

Excellent, excellent, excellent. Stop looking for places to stay, I spent days looking for a place to stay and you won’t regret choosing this fab hotel it was really really fantastic. Breakfast included, full English, you can grab a free hot drink all day. There’s a ‘pantry’ where they sell wine beer pot noodles, pizzas, stuff you can cook in your room using the multi cooker. I was so in awe of how good this place was and the location was incredible. The Beatles museum is a 3 minute walk, the docks, loads of restaurants. Just brilliant. Rooms were clean, modern, small but had everything you needed. I can’t speak highly enough, compare it to next door Leonardo hotel with a breakfast, you save a fortune! Tescos is just over the bridge too. Amazing place.

Staff were very friendly on arrival. You had the security and staff of a hotel and the room of an apartment so all the space and storage of self catering. Great mix if you have a family staying. Essentially it's a suite without paying for a suite. We stayed in the one bed king suite but it was only £119 so cheaper than most hotels in the area. Great location Just across the bridge from Liverpool One and all museums so very central. Would 100% stay again when we come back. Property is right by the M&S Arena so would be a good location if you were watching a show. Great too if you're working and having a long stay as the apartments/suites have a very homely feel to them. Nice little added decorations to make it feel like more of a home than a hotel.

Holyhead

The location is excellent- our room and indeed the whole building was spotlessly clean, well appointed and decorated. There was a good choice of breakfast options with the cooked food being well cooked, well presented and warm. There was the added bonus of free tea and coffee being available throughout the day. Another good point was the opportunity to purchase snack items, alcoholic drinks and items such as deodorants and toothpaste. All staff were approachable, helpful and polite. We will definitely be returning and have already recommended Staybridge Apartments to friends. We will be returning.
